In it’s tenth year, the Community Faire is organized by a team of talented event planners and homemade aficionados with hearts for our community’s children. All proceeds from this event go directly to the Preschool Scholarship Fund which has help many families afford early education for their children.
Research for improving communities (ending poverty, lowering violence and increasing economic levels) shows that early childhood education is pivotal for change. High quality early education for young children prepares them socially, emotionally, academically and physically for school. In fact, children who have acquired social maturity prior to entering Kindergarten are showing long term success in school, higher graduation rates and better attitudes about learning.
